Privacy Policy

How Sunset Landscape LLC handles the information you send through this website.

Who we are

This website is operated by Sunset Landscape LLC, Minneapolis, MN 55426. You can reach the business by phone at (612) 701-6794, by email at sunset3184@gmail.com, or on Facebook.

What this website collects

The website has two forms. The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, an optional service of interest and your message. The free estimate form asks for your name, phone number, email address, project address or city, the service requested, a project description, and optional details: approximate size, access and site notes, preferred timeframe and preferred contact method. You may also attach up to three photographs of your project.

Both forms require you to tick a consent box before they can be sent. Each form also contains a hidden field used only to detect automated submissions; a person never sees or fills it in.

Beyond the forms, the site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not embed third-party content. The hosting provider records standard technical information about requests (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in order to serve the website and protect it from abuse.

How your information is used

Form submissions are emailed to Sunset Landscape LLC so that the business can respond to your inquiry, discuss your project, provide an estimate and, where you go ahead, carry out the work. Your details are used only for that purpose. They are not sold, rented or used for marketing lists.

Your connection address is used at the moment of submission to limit repeated or automated submissions. It is not stored by the website afterwards.

Photographs you send

Photographs attached to the estimate form are resized in your browser, checked on the server to confirm they are genuine image files, and then emailed to Sunset Landscape LLC as attachments. They are not stored on the website, are never published, and never appear in the website gallery. Only attach photographs you have the right to share and that do not show other people without their agreement.

Who processes your information

The website is hosted on Vercel, which serves the pages and runs the small program that validates and forwards form submissions. Emails are sent through Resend, a transactional email service, which delivers the message to the business inbox. Both providers process your submission only in order to deliver it.

If online submissions have not yet been switched on, the forms tell you so and nothing is sent; you can call or email the business instead.

We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Form submissions live in the Sunset Landscape LLC email inbox. Messages relating to inquiries that do not proceed are deleted when they are no longer needed. Records relating to work carried out are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary for business, accounting and legal purposes.

Links to other sites

This website links to the Sunset Landscape LLC Facebook page, to Google Maps, and to the page of the developer who built the site. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by calling (612) 701-6794, emailing sunset3184@gmail.com or contacting the business through the contact form. You can also contact us by phone or email instead of using the forms at all.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated, size-limited and rate-limited on the server, and file attachments are checked against their actual content before being forwarded. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the forms.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging property services. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the way the website works changes, this page will be updated to match. The version published here is the current one.
